The Herald 1200 (1147cc) range was introduced in 1961 with more refined interior and was also available in Saloon, Coupe and Convertible, in addition to the new Estate version and the very rare Courier Van model &#8211; probably the rarest of all Herald models. Some Herald Saloons \u2013 notably the 1200 \u2013 were assembled in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>The Herald 12\/50 was produced between 1962 and 1967 having the same specifications as the 1200 with a full-length sun roof fitted as standard. The last Herald to be produced, the 13\/60, was introduced in 1967 and was fitted with a superb 1296cc engine and revised front end styling. These were also available in Saloon, Coupe and Convertible versions.
